513 March for Sharks!

The Green Party of Hong Kong strongly supports the principles behind the whole shark protection movement. The Hong Kong Shark Foundation "raises awareness about shark conservation, with particular emphasis on the unsustainable practice of shark finning and enlist support in helping to reduce the consumption of shark products in Hong Kong". Without conducting a proper and thorough research works on environment and conservation, the Green Party of Hong Kong joined the rally against a giant property development project at the South Lamma Island. The project was finally turned down by the Town Planning Development Council earlier.
